Non-Woven Products - Convolute Wheels
   

These wheels bring together several years of R & D and field application work resulting in the latest in convolute wheel materials and processing technology.  Convolute wheels incorporate a non-woven construction impregnated with abrasive grain and resin, which is wound around a core and bonded.  These wheels are great for blending, deburring, finishing, cleaning, and polishing.

Available in the following Types:

  • BP  - Blend and Polish
  • XL  - Deburring and Finishing
  • GP  - General Purpose
   

BP Convolute Wheels

The best choice if wheel life and durability are the key considerations.  This wheel is fast cutting, and is excellent for the blending of metal or alloy surfaces without removing excess material.  Works very effectively on stainless steel and other precision parts such as turbine blades.
   

XL Convolute Wheels

This product is used for a wide variety of applications such as deburring, finishing and edge breaking.  XL wheels are offered in the widest range of grits, densities and sizes.
   

GP Convolute Wheels

For all general blending, finishing and polishing.  Made to be more conformable and slower cutting than either BP or XL wheels.
