| Surface Conditioning products are an evolution of Non-Wovens for mechanical applications. These are used primarily in belt, disc, and quick-change disc form. Surface Conditioning products offer a unique combination of long life, consistent finish, aggressive performance, and flexibility. These are ideal products for surface preparation, removing surface imperfections, generating a finish, blending, deburring, oxide removal, and cleaning. | |
| These products have a very low stock removal capacity and a very linear cut. This makes it particularly suitable for blending, finishing, and removing oxides and paint without disturbing the integrity of the work piece. These products are used extensively on stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and bronze. Included in this Nylon offering are Hand Pads, Discs, Rolls, and Flap Wheels. | |
| This PAI exclusive product from Bibielle, is an extruded nylon filament, which is impregnated with a coarse grade of silicon carbide grain. The abrasive web is open, which allows for long life without loading. This is an excellent product for weld preparation, removal of scale and oxides, paint removal, weld cleaning, and splatter removal. This product will remove surface contaminates quickly, leaving a thoroughly clean surface. Strip-It¨ will follow a contour due to its flexibility without modifying the shape. This product is available in various forms such as discs and a unique Depressed Center Wheel configuration for use on a right angle grinder. | |
